CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. is exploring for resources for clean energy development. The Company is strategically placed for discovery to supply new uranium demand for the world-wide nuclear energy, with is large and advanced projects in the Athabasca basin. As a “project generator” the Company has multiple advanced projects and some of the largest and strategic land positions in Canada’s Athabasca Basin region. We are currently focused on a new high grade uranium discovery at our West McArthur JV with Cameco.
The Company has also acquired significant landholdings in the Thompson Nickel Belt in Manitoba, where it recently drilled high grade sulphide nickel, and acquired the nearby past-producing Manibridge nickel mine. Nickel is a key component of EV batteries. Two further nickel properties are held over strategic geology and large targets north of the Thompson nickel mining complex.
Since 2006 CanAlaska has partnered with multiple international mining companies to finance exploration on its projects. The Company has a strong shareholder base, and significant management involvement. We are ready, with our strategic shareholders, to take advantage of the growing focus on clean energy, and the uranium and nickel discoveries that will be required to produce and store this energy.
