Aime Emmanuel Yoka
Aimé Emmanuel Yoka is the managing partner at Marys Capital Investments Pte Ltd, a private equity and advisory firm based in Singapore. He also works as Country Manager for the Australian miner Sundance Resources on developing the US$6 billion international iron ore project Nabeba Mbalam for 40 Mtpa in the Republic of Congo and Republic of Cameroon. Emmanuel is the current chairman of the Chamber of Mines, a position held since 2013. Prior to that, he spent nearly 7 years with BHP Billiton in both Europe and Asia covering energy and minerals as a senior strategist and analyst. He is fluent in French and English and has developed fair ability in Mandarin and Spanish. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Columbia University (New York, USA) as well as a Master of Science in Energy and Mining Studies from Dundee University (Scotland, UK) where he graduated with overall distinction. He is a member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the African Leadership Network (ALN) and was recently appointed to the board of Club Efficience, a private equity fund investing in small to medium enterprises in Africa.
