David joined Roskill in 2011, initially working on the rare earth elements market outlook report. In addition to co-authoring the rare earths report, David has contributed to Roskill’s reports covering the lithium, tungsten and molybdenum markets and provided analysis for a range of bespoke consultancy projects. David has managed Roskill’s Battery & Electric Vehicle Materials division since 2018, which encompasses Roskill’s analysis on the lithium, lithium-ion battery, cobalt, rare earths and electric vehicle markets. He has also presented at various conferences in Europe, Asia and North America on the rare earth elements and lithium markets.
Prior to joining Roskill, David worked as an exploration geologist on precious metal and rare earth element projects in South America and Africa. David graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Geology before completing an MSc in Mining Geology at Camborne School of Mines (University of Exeter).”
