CopperCorp is well financed with C$4.1M cash and is exploring approximately 1800km2 of prospective ground in west Tasmania. The ‘flagship’ RazorBack project is located immediately adjacent to the Mt Lyell (3MT contained copper) deposit. The company will be drilling within the RazorBack property at its Jukes copper target 10km south and on strike from Mt Lyell in Sept / Oct this year. Adit sampling at this site was reported in May and returned 31.5m at 1.48% Cu and 0.83 g/t Au. The Company has the largest land position of any exploration company in west Tasmania and is exploring for copper in 2 major belts, the Arthur Metamorphic Complex (which is also host to the Savage River Fe deposit) and the Mount Read Volcanic Belt which is host to deposits such as Rosebury (Zn, Pb, Cu, Au), Renison (Sn), Henty (Au) and Mt Lyell (Cu-Au). The district hosting the Mount Read Volcanic deposits has experienced over 150 years of continuous mining which has subsequently produced a robust mining industry which is still a significant source of revenue for the state of Tasmania. All of the tenements are 100% owned and range from early grassroots to advanced drill stage.
