Cabral Gold is a publicly traded company (TSX-V: CBR) (OTC: CBGZF) focused on advancing the flagship, district-scale 1Moz Cuiú Cuiú gold district in Para state, Brazil. The company’s near term strategy is focused on one or more high-grade gold deposits at Cuiú Cuiú which already comprises 43-101 compliant resources of 1Moz, comprising Indicated resources of 5.9Mt @ 0.90g/t (200,000 oz) and Inferred resources of 19.5Mt @ 1.24g/t (800,000 oz).

The Tapajos region was historically the site of the world’s largest ever gold rush (1978 – 1995), the largest placer gold province in Brazil, and the third largest in the world. The Cuiú Cuiú district was the largest placer gold camp during this gold rush period having produced an estimated 2M oz placer gold compared with an estimated 20 – 30M oz from the overall Tapajos region.

The Company is currently engaged in a 25,000m drill program and has 2 rigs drilling. High-grade drill intercepts including 3.4m @ 36.9 g/t, 27m @ 6.9 g/t and 39m @ 5.1 g/t gold have been returned on 8 targets outside the current resources, and several other untested targets have returned high-grade mineralization on surface.
