BMG Resources is an ASX-listed gold exploration company developing its three 100% owned gold projects, located in Tier 1 and emerging Western Australian gold districts – Abercromby, Invincible and South Boddington.
BMG’s flagship Abercromby Project is located on the Agnew-Wiluna Greenstone Belt, which boasts a gold endowment of +40Moz Au – second only to Kalgoorlie globally in terms of historic production.
Mineralisation at Abercromby is hosted by the Perseverance Shear, a regional structure supporting large resources along its strike. At the Capital Prospect, BMG has confirmed a large, high-grade gold system with multiple thick intervals of high-grade gold. Mineralisation remains open, with potential for repetition of gold lodes along a 6km strike.
Diamond drilling at the Capital Prospect in 2022 more than doubled the down dip extent of the mineralised system and increased the known strike to about 550m. Diamond drilling continues to deliver extremely high-grade gold in fresh rock, and aircore drilling of regional tenements has delivered a pipeline of highly prospective greenfields targets for follow up campaigns including Capital South, Barrack and Archer.
Metallurgical test-work by BMG confirmed that the gold ore is amenable to conventional carbon-in-leach processing with high gold recoveries achieved.
The Invincible Gold Project is located in the emerging Central Pilbara gold district. It is immediately along strike from, and hosted by the same stratigraphy as, Western Australia’s newest gold mine, Calidus Resources’ Warrawoona mine. BMG believes the high-grade historic artisanal workings, and the lack of systematic modern exploration at Invincible provides an outstanding opportunity for a new high-grade discovery, and potentially lithium. There are a growing number of lithium projects in the district, and BMG is evaluating the potential for lithium pegmatites at Invincible.
The South Boddington Project is located within the Saddleback Greenstone Belt and along strike to Newmont Goldcorp’s giant Boddington Gold Mine. The Project comprises two exploration licenses (under application), which are interpreted to host similar stratigraphy to the Boddington Gold Mine. Major gold deposits are typically situated within gold camps that host multiple deposits, and BMG believes this presents an outstanding opportunity to make a significant gold discovery in an underexplored, world-class gold mining region.
BMG is committed to delivering long-term shareholder value through targeted and systematic exploration programs across all three projects.
