Kingston is a diversified gold and copper producer and developer operating in the Asia-Pacific region. The Company is focused on gold and copper production, alongside other metals, at the Mineral Hill Mine in NSW, and the development of the 3.8Moz Misima Gold Project in Papua New Guinea.
Mineral Hill Mine
The Mineral Hill Mine is located in the Cobar region of New South Wales (NSW) boasting an extensive gold, copper, zinc, lead and silver Resource, alongside existing gold production and outstanding exploration upside. Mineral Hill hosts a number of production-ready, open-pit and underground deposits, extensive plant infrastructure, providing significant opportunity to unlock the broader expansion potential of the asset. The existing tailings processing operation serves as a solid foundation from which to re-establish mine production from the Mineral Hill Resource base. Kingston is working towards an initial five-year mine plan to deliver additional gold, copper, lead, zinc and silver production.
Misima Gold Project
The Misima Gold Project is an attractive mine development project of significant scale with a strong pipeline of regional exploration targets. In June 2022, Kingston delivered a successful Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), for the 3.8Moz Misima Gold Project, confirming Misima as a large-scale, long-life, low-cost gold producer. Misima was previously mined by Placer Dome from 1989 to 2004, producing 3.7Moz over its 15 year mine life. Kingston is excited about the future for the Misima Gold Mine and its contribution to the livelihoods of Misimans and the economy of Papua New Guinea.
