EV Metals

A clean energy future is of worldwide significance, with a growing number of countries, cities, businesses and institutions pledging to achieve net-zero emissions.
Transformation to electrification is happening at pace, accelerating the global demand for the critical raw materials required for battery chemicals and technology. For us, those critical raw materials are mineral resources that contain the strategic metals required for decarbonisation, namely, lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper, manganese, vanadium, platinum group metals and rare earth elements.

Leveraging our world class technical capabilities, technology and know-how, we will participate in each stage of the supply chain from the processing of critical raw materials into intermediate products through to the production of high purity battery chemicals at our Battery Chemicals Complex in Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Battery Chemicals Complex will feature a Nickel Chemicals Plant, a Lithium Chemicals Plant and a Cathode Active Materials Plant.
