Amex Exploration (TSX-V: AMX, OTCQX: AMXEF) has made significant high grade gold discoveries on its 100% owned Perron Gold Project located in the mining friendly jurisdiction of Quebec, Canada. The project is well serviced by existing infrastructure, on a year round road, 10 minutes from an airport and just outside the town of Normetal (~8 km). In addition, the project is in close proximity to a number of major gold producers’ milling operations.
To date, Amex has intersected very high-grade and visible gold in three different zones, Eastern Gold Zone, (including the Denise Zone) Gratien Gold Zone and Grey Cat Gold Zone; across the project over 3.6 km corridor of gold mineralization. Amex Exploration is also undertaking a regional exploration program which has uncovered two new gold discoveries as well as a copper rich VMS zone. The VMS zone compares very favourably to a past producing mine located just a few kilometres away which produced copper, zinc, gold and silver for more than 40 years.
The management team has invested their own capital into the company in multiple financing and as shareholders they are focused on building value. Drilling is year-round, and the company is in the middle of a fully funded 300,000 m drill campaign, meaning there are 8 to 10 drills at site and investors can expect ample news flow and catalysts throughout the year.
