David has 30 year’s experience working on environmental issues in the Natural Resources sector. A geologist by background, he has been working on project development, operations and closure throughout the world since the early 1990s. He has worked in consultancy, risk advisory, and for the past 10 years in the Environment and Sustainability Department within the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) where he is currently Head of Operations. Specialising now in the Environmental and Social risks associated with the development of metalliferous deposits his work includes risk assessment and management, the development of ESG within client management structure and the design of reporting mechanisms.
