Mike is an exploration geologist with c.10 years’ experience in the industry. Having graduated with an MSc in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines, he has worked on projects covering a variety of commodities including gold, copper and coltan around West and Central Africa. Mike is experienced in the planning and operational management of exploration programmes and applying new methodologies to unlock exploration potential.
Having joined Cornish Lithium in 2019 to run the company’s first drilling programme, Mike now heads up the Lithium in Geothermal Waters Team who are exploring for lithium in the deep groundwaters across Cornwall. As well as exploring, the team are evaluating new lithium extraction technologies and their application in commercialising metal extraction from geothermal waters.
