He has more than 12 years in leadership positions within various senior operational and commercial roles, in steel and aluminum companies such as LIBERTY Steel Group, Tata Steel, SAIL, Aditya Birla Group, ArcelorMittal Long Carbon Europe and Jindal Steel and Power Limited – with demonstrated excellence in capacity planning, continuous improvement through business strategies, technology transfer and maximizing profit through proficient plant operation.
P.K. Mishra is a graduate in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, has an MBA in Finance and has frther obtained diploma certificates in management and leadership from Harvard Business School, USA. With an extensive multi-domain and cross-cultural experience, he has attained expertise in heading successful acquisition and turnaround of moribund plants, carrying out greenfield and brownfield projects, dealing with governmental matters, and managing the P&L of strategic business units in India as well globally.
Previously, Prasanta Mishra was the CEO of Premium Steel & Mines and Platinum Steel Turkey, at Stallion Group of Companies for more than five years, and the Joint President and Unit Head of Hindalco Belgaum at Aditya Birla Group.
