Nicholas Fournier has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR).

Nicholas Fournier is Chief Executive Officer of Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR), one of Africa's leading rail and logistics operators. He brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience across Africa, the Middle East and Asia, having held senior executive roles in the energy, infrastructure, logistics and security sectors and led large-scale operations in complex, high-stakes environments.

Prior to joining LAR, Nicholas served as Vice President at ADIT-GEOS Group, Managing Director of G4S Iraq, and Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of KS Drilling. He also spent more than two decades with Transocean and Schlumberger in operational and leadership positions across multiple international markets.
At LAR, Nicholas is focused on strengthening regional connectivity, improving supply chain resilience and enabling efficient trade flows across Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the wider region. He is committed to developing reliable logistics solutions that support economic growth, local value creation and the responsible movement of critical minerals to international markets.
