Cameron has over 20 years’ experience in the resources sector in both global and local markets.
After working as an engineer on several mining projects in construction and operation roles, Cameron transitioned into mining finance, working as a Mining Analyst with Morgan Stanley and Wilson HTM before joining Arete Capital, a mining private equity company. At Arete Capital, in addition to reviewing numerous global mining projects, he was also instrumental in the acquisition of Stawell Gold Mines on behalf of Victor Smorgon Group. In 2019 Cameron joined Victor Smorgon Group to lead and grow the company’s investments in the resources sector.
