Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in professional services and has been an advisor on some of China’s largest direct investments into the Australian mining sector. He also has extensive experience in IPO’s both in Australia and abroad, as well as due diligence assignments and mergers and acquisitions. Matthew is the Chair of SW’s Energy and Resources industry group and the Global Chair of the Praxity Allia
Over the past 6 years, he has worked on China’s largest ever State Owned Enterprise direct investment into the Australian mining industry and China’s largest Privately Owned Enterprise investment into the Australian mining industry. This experience provides Matthew with unrivalled experience in dealing with large Chinese mining companies and their global investment strategies.
Matthew has been the engagement partner on the audits of a broad spectrum of ASX listed entities, ranging from small and mid-cap ASX companies, to international entities. His experience includes Yancoal Australia’s acquisition of Coal & Allied from Rio Tinto, the acquisition of Felix Resources Ltd, Gloucestor Coal Ltd.
Matthew is a Chartered Accountant and registered company auditor.
