Peter Duerden has over 25 years’ experience in the mining and exploration industry working across a wide range of commodities and deposit styles. As a geo, Pete has worked with successful exploration teams at Newcrest and Alkane Resources where he led the discovery team for 11 years at the Boda-Kaiser epithermal-porphyry gold-copper discovery in NSW and developed geochem and structural brownfields targets in the Cadia porphyry district.
More recently, he has held board roles including the founding Managing Director of Sky Metals and now with Battery Minerals has overseen the sale of graphite assets in Mozambique, setting up the company to focus on its gold discovery opportunities in Western Victoria.
