Resourcing Tomorrow launches new Women in Mining Award in Partnership with Women in Mining UK

Resourcing Tomorrow, in proud partnership with Women in Mining UK (WIM UK), is delighted to announce the launch of the Women in Mining Award, to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary leadership and impact of the women shaping the mining industry. The inaugural award is sponsored by Berenberg, introducing a brand new category to the globally-renowned Lifetime Achievement Awards, celebrated this year on 4 December in London. 

The award has been developed in close collaboration with WIM UK to spotlight the achievements of women across all areas of the sector; including exploration, operations, ESG, finance, HR, legal, technology, communications, and community and stakeholder engagement. It aims to honour individuals who are not only advancing the industry through innovation and excellence, but are also paving the way for greater inclusion and progress, in alignment with Resourcing Tomorrow’s focus on meaningfully advancing the mining industry.  

Judged by a panel that includes members of the WIM UK Executive Committee alongside the Resourcing Tomorrow Awards Judging Panel, this award is entirely unique.

This Women in Mining UK Lounge will return to Resourcing Tomorrow 2025, as a central hub for networking, mentorship, and cross-sector dialogue, offering a welcoming and inclusive space for professionals to connect, collaborate, and inspire one another.

WIM UK continues to play a key role in advising the Resourcing Tomorrow content team to help shape a truly diverse and representative agenda across the conference programme.
