Ekometall Exploration

Austria has produced copper, gold, silver and antimony for more than three thousand years. It has seen almost no modern systematic exploration. Ekometall Exploration exists to close that gap. The company holds exploration licences over more than 10,000 km², approximately 12% of Austria's land area, covering the country's most productive historical districts including Schwaz-Brixlegg, Tyrol, Styria, and Tauern Window gold. Those blocks contain over 1,500 past-producing mines and historical workings, prospective for copper, antimony, tungsten, cobalt and nickel, all named under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act, alongside gold and silver. Ekometall's advantage is proprietary knowledge, not acreage alone. Working with GexplOre, the company's Austria-based technical team applies AI-assisted processing to centuries of German-language mining and geological records, much of it never digitised, converting archives that have sat unprocessed since the mines closed into ranked, georeferenced exploration prospects. That work is complemented by an independent country-wide catchment analysis of Austria's national stream sediment database, covering 34,364 samples, which provides a second and fully independent targeting layer across the entire land position. The company has also shown it can convert targets into drill holes. At Tessenberg in East Tyrol, Ekometall moved from licence to permitted, community-supported drilling in under eight months, in a jurisdiction the industry assumes is dormant. Operating as a project generator, Ekometall offers partners direct entry to a pipeline of exploration targets, backed by in-country permitting, community engagement and technical execution support.
