Oroco Resource Corp

Oroco controls the Santo Tomás porphyry copper project, a +1 billion tonne outcropping resource at low elevation, in infrastructure-rich coastal northwest Mexico, with robust economics demonstrated in a 2024 PEA (Ausenco, SRK). Ongoing conversion drilling will lead to an updated MRE in H1 2027 and a Pre-Feasibility Study in mid-2027.

Santo Tomás is among the very few independently owned, development-stage copper assets with scale (108 Kt p.a. copper production, 22.6 year mine life), positive economics ($1.5 billion NPV8 and 22.2% IRR at $4/lb. copper, >$4.5 billion and >40% at spot copper), extensive nearby infrastructure, social license to operate, political support through its designation as a Strategic Project under Mexico's federal economic stimulus plan, and a functional federal permitting framework.

The Santo Tomás porphyry copper project has an approximately 3.9-million-tonne (8.5 billion lb.) CuEq (84% copper, by-product Mo-Au-Ag) endowment, and ongoing drilling is successfully testing mineralization outside of the PEA pit and MRE. Production costs are in the lowest quartile, and it's among the most capital-efficient development-stage projects worldwide, with an initial capital Intensity of just $10k/tonne of annual production.

Drilling at Santo Tomás is ongoing and an updated MRE is expected in Q1 2027, and a Pre-Feasibility Study by mid-2027. Santo Tomás is rapidly approaching an actionable stage.
