Sarah Gooley is a Principal Social and Stakeholder Consultant with Onterris. With 25 years of experience spanning consulting, resource industry advocacy, and senior Queensland Government roles, Sarah has worked across mining, critical minerals, energy, water and regional development projects. She specialises in helping organisations navigate complex stakeholder environments, build trusted relationships, and deliver successful project outcomes.
Prior to joining Onterris, Sarah was the Queensland Director for the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) where her advocacy for the minerals industry was pivotal in positioning critical minerals in Queensland. Sarah has also held senior advisory and policy leadership roles within the Queensland Government, where she led strategic initiatives. She currently works advising resource, energy and infrastructure projects on stakeholder engagement, social impact assessment and community participation. Sarah currently serves on the Board of Coexistence Queensland and is a member of the Queensland Advisory Committee for AMEC.
